The US Gear Dual Range is  an  auxillary transmission availible in either  direct and over, or direct  and under for those interested in an underdrive. Gear splitting, and over   or under driving are similar in function to using a two speed rear end.  Perhaps one  of  the best features of  the Dual Range is it can be used in conjuction with an exhaust brake on downhills.
